He explains that because it is provided as a service to the company's resellers, it means zero upfront costs, while enabling remote access to take place via any device, from any place and at any time. In other words, set-up, maintenance and remedial action to the company's products can be performed without the need for a technician to be despatched to the customer.
"Wanderweb Connect works with our existing products and enables our resellers to manage all their clients sites from anywhere in the world, freeing them from the need for a Network Operation Centre (NOC). In effect, when an end customer experiences a challenge, the system immediately alerts the reseller and enables them to connect to and manage any device behind the customer's firewall. In many cases they can resolve a problem before the customer is even aware of it."
This, he says, means they are able to offer better and quicker service, and delivery of far superior service level agreements.
"There are additional benefits too. This new service allows resellers to optimise their operations, by creating a service structure with client and device directories, as well as assigning and allocating staff according to regions. It also lowers operational overheads, as new implementations can be performed automatically, reducing the need for 'hi-tech' installation staff."
