New Xerox colour printer and MFP put big business capabilities within reach of small offices

Customers get advanced features, reliability, unmatched colour... affordably.

Johannesburg, 24 Apr 2018

Most small business printers and multifunction devices are serviceable, but with limited capabilities and reliability. They're difficult to set up and don't deliver what offices need today. But, that is about to change.

Xerox today introduced the Xerox Phaser 6510 colour printer and Xerox WorkCentre 6515 colour multifunction printer (MFP). Right out of the box, they offer easy set-up and high-productivity tools such as two-sided printing and, for the MFP, single-pass scanning.

The MFP also features a five-inch, app-based, tablet-like touchscreen user interface that offers scan preview, editing features, intuitive navigation and the ability to customise workflows. High paper capacity of up to 850-sheets and new Super-Fine EA toner also deliver the type of performance typically seen in large enterprise environments.

"Until now, the options for small business printing have been mostly products with marginal capabilities, limiting the types of jobs small businesses can manage on their own," said Tracey Koziol, senior vice-president, Office and Solutions Business Group, Xerox. "The market has been waiting for affordable, high-powered products like these."

A small real estate office, for example, can now print high-quality brochures and graphics on-site and in minutes, without sacrificing colour quality and accuracy. In addition, that same small office can digitise client proposals and contracts, sending these files to their brokers on the road and creating text-searchable versions for easy archiving.

The new Phaser 6510 colour printer and WorkCentre 6515 colour MFP also provide connectivity from any device, enabling employees to print from a tablet or mobile phone if they're working on the go. This feature eliminates the need to forward documents to a PC for printing.

Results that attract attention

Advancements in Xerox's new Super-Fine EA toner, debuting in the Phaser 6510 colour printer and WorkCentre 6515 colour MFP, create more accurate and detailed print jobs. Colour is appealing and attracts readers' attention. According to the US Bureau of Advertising, when colour is used on printed materials, readership increases by 80% and attention span by 82%1.
